“In my journey as a coach, I have come to believe that the foundation of any successful program begins and ends with love. It’s the essence of what drives us, motivates us, and ultimately propels us to greatness.

I firmly believe that my players don’t truly care how much I know until they understand just how much I care about them as individuals. Therefore, love is the cornerstone of my coaching philosophy.

At the heart of my approach are three core initiatives, collectively known as “RGC”:

R – Raise the Bar: We aim to continually elevate our standards, pushing the boundaries of what we think is possible. By constantly challenging ourselves to be better, we set the stage for growth and achievement that knows no bounds.

G – Grow the Body: Growth, in my eyes, encompasses not just physical prowess, but also mental and spiritual development. We strive to nurture the whole person, knowing that a strong mind, body, and spirit are the pillars of success both on and off the field.

C – Create Community: Building a sense of belonging and unity is paramount. We cultivate a culture where every individual, from player to staff, feels valued and connected. Together, we create a community that thrives on support, respect, and collaboration.

But there’s one more element that defines our program: “One Percent Every Day.” We understand that success is often the result of continuous small improvements made consistently over time. Our goal is to inspire and challenge each member of our team to strive for that one percent of improvement daily. Small, incremental progress over a sustained period leads to remarkable growth and achievement.

My coaching philosophy is not just about winning games; it’s about nurturing individuals who are not only exceptional athletes but also exceptional people. It’s about fostering an environment where love, growth, and community are not just ideals but lived experiences.
